SEPA / SWIFT Fee & Timing Estimator

Direct and intermediate paths between two bank arches

For readers organising a bank transfer quote. The rail label does not supply fees or processing promises.

Examples are hypothetical. CU = currency units. Use one consistent currency wherever CU appears. No live prices or provider data are fetched.

Total entered fees5.00 CU

Assumed recipient credit1,000.00 CU
Entered time scenario1–3 business days

Illustrative result using the displayed default inputs.

How to read the result

The range repeats your processing assumptions and includes the additional wait you enter. It does not fetch bank tariffs, model instant SEPA, resolve OUR/SHA/BEN terms, account for holidays automatically or promise a credit date.

Formula

  1. All entered fees must first be expressed in the same currency; no FX conversion is performed.
  2. Fees = sender fee + intermediary deductions + recipient fee. Assumed sender debit = principal + sender fee; assumed recipient credit = principal − intermediary deductions − recipient fee.
  3. Time scenario = [additional wait + entered minimum, additional wait + entered maximum] business days. The rail choice is descriptive only.

Worked example

Principal 1,000 CU, sender fee 5 CU and no deductions: fees = 5 CU; sender debit = 1,005 CU; recipient credit = 1,000 CU. Entered 1–3 business days plus 1 waiting day → 2–4 business days.
